First Time Massage
For New Clients
If you’re new to massage or haven’t experienced this deeper therapeutic approach, this section will help you know what to expect.
If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to reach out before your session.
What to Wear
To fully benefit from this style of massage, it’s best for the upper body to be free of clothing.
For the lower body, underwear or shorts are perfectly fine.
Some clients choose to remain partially clothed (such as wearing loose shorts or yoga pants), but this can limit certain techniques—especially for the legs and hips.
Please remove jewelry such as necklaces, earrings, bracelets, and rings before your session. Socks are optional, and your comfort is always respected.
Draping & Comfort
Your comfort and privacy are always a priority. You will be fully draped with a sheet and blanket throughout the session.
Only the area being worked on will be uncovered at any time.
The chest and glutes remain covered, and all work in sensitive areas is performed respectfully and professionally.
If you have any preferences or comfort concerns, I am always happy to adjust.
Assessment & Expectations
Your first session gives me insight into your body and helps determine the best approach for your treatment.
This type of work is not a quick fix or spot treatment. The body is complex, and lasting results often take consistency, especially for long-standing or more acute issues.
Together, we’ll create a plan that supports your goals and helps your body move and feel better over time.
